Car stereo w/CD changer?

The changer in the trunk is wired per the car manufacturer, so if you can get the wiring diagram, it would be possible.... But, there are no standards for how the changer is triggered, so the odds that the two would work together are pretty slim.... What year is your VW ?? If an iPod player were an option that year, & your car just doesn't have it, you could check e-bay for a factory unit that would.
