Yes, you call the cops (911 actually - they will send cops and an ambulance). But contrary to one previous post, the cops will NOT record the time of death - they're cops, not doctors. The coroner will do this as it is his/her job. Depending on the cirstances, the police will investigate to verify whether enough evidence exists to consider it foul play. But if there is no evidence of foul play, the coroner will handle the corpse. You can then contact a funeral home who will guide you through making all other arrangements.
