What are all the treatments for prostate cancer ?

My husband was diagnosed with prostste cancer in June. They cut it out and started him on brachy therapy 11 weeks ago. He has 5 more weeks of this therapy and it goes back and forth some weeks its healing and some weeks it is really inflamed and bad. He says he wont stop working and they have suggested chemo but he does not want to go that route . are there any other treatment alternatives.if the brachy therapy does not work ? Also he says the brachy therapy messes up his head he goes from happy to severly depressed and cant think straight. Is there any way to help this??/
