What temperature do you consider to be perfect or descent weather?

I live in the US, I won't tell you what city because I want people to be honest with thy re answers, my city is considered by others to have perfect weather, I have been here all my life and don't understand why they consider it one of the best climates in US, it's 59 right now yesterday it was 49, and don't get me wrong 59 and 49 is great compared to Minnesota or new york, but when I googled the weather in other US cities, I had a hard time finding a colder city than this one, unless of course I checked obvious colder cities like Minnesota, new york, chicago, etc, I think It's pathetic, and don't think that this city deserves to have a reputation on perfect weather, 49 is not my idea of paradise. Yes I don't have to plow snow, or wait for tornados or hurricanes to go by but that does not mean that I enjoy wearing a jacket to go to the beach and a runny nose in the middle of 4th of july just because it's overcast, chilly and muggy, and that's just to give you an example.
