People who know electronics. How to change the speaker of an earphone?

Hi. Please tell me how can i change the speaker of my headphone. I want to use a diffrent speaker. I tried to unsolder the old one an soldered a new one but it did not work. My nokia phone showed enhancement not supported Is it because of diffrance in the resistance of the two speaker. How to overcome this problem?
