Boot camp+ showers + heteruals+ s = ?

I want to know if you think this is unreasonable,if i knew who the gay guys are in my platoon I believe that i would avoid taking showers with them,it would make me uncomfortable .the way the shower rooms were set up when i was in we had a large room with approx 8-10 shower heads in them with no privacy,do you believe that this will cause problems in the future if everyone knows who is gay ? is this situation the same as me showering with women? would those women be uncomfortable with me in the shower room? as much as the idea appeals to me, I think that I would be uncomfortable if i had to take showers with women , i really don't know if this is the same kind of situation,i play pool with a team who is all gay men and i asked them too tell me honestly if they would be checking out the other guys and good number of them said that they probably would ,another thing i don't know is if don't ask don't tell is repealed does that mean everyone will know who is gay(if they choose to share that info) i cant help but think that this may become an issue (shower time) will the gay guys or women have to shower at different times then the straight guys and women?will they have to eventually have separate platoons ? I just know that alot of these guys are around 18 years old or so and with the whole macho atmosphere so to speak (especially the Marines) that these issues may come up..
